ALL RENT IS DUE ON THE DAY OF PICK- UP
**There will be no weekend rentals between may 15th and September 15th **
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF THIS INFORMATION ON THIS SHEET SO PRINT & READ IT CAREFULLY!!
DEPOSITS & RESERVATIONS: A $250 deposit is required and is separate from the rent. The deposit holds your unit and also is considered a “clean-up and damage” deposit. Reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance. We recommend that you reserve your trailer 1 to 2 months in advance for the summer and especially for holidays or NASCAR race weekends. Phone reservations can be made with you use a credit card. Deposits can be made in cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express ONLY. You may write a check for the deposit if written two weeks before the rental date. Deposits made on credit cards or checks are run through or charged. Deposits will be refunded the day of return if the unit is returned on time and if the unit is clean, inside and out and has no additional damage. Deposits are returned in the same way they were made.
RENT: You must pay the full rent plus tax on the day you pick up your trailer. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and cash. There are no checks accepted for the rent unless you also pay for the rent two or more weeks in advance. You must also notify us of your exact rental dates so you will be charged accordingly. You may not extend or shorten your rental dates after you pick up the trailer. You must extend or shorten your rental dates before you leave and then, only if the trailer is available and corresponds with the allowable rental times.
SANITATION FEE: The porta-potti/cassette toilet holding tank must be dumped and rinsed out before returning the trailer or the $75 sanitation fee will be charged to you. The toilet must also be cleaned out .
INSURANCE: While being towed the liability coverage on your vehicle should cover the liability on the trailer but you should check with your insurance agent to be sure. We do not carry additional liability, comprehensive and collision insurance that covers the trailer while unhooked from your vehicle. If something happens that causes damage or destroys the trailer, you are responsible for the repairs up to the replacement value. That means you could loose your $250 deposit and pay additional charges. You should be able to purchase comprehensive and collision insurance from your insurance company and we highly recommend you do so.
PICK-UP TIME AND RETURN TIME: One week is figured on a Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday basis. The rental days are thought of as noon to noon. For example: pick up the trailer on Friday afternoon and return it the next Friday at noon. Due to the fact that most trailers are returned at noon by the previous renter, we do schedule rental pick-up times until 2:00 PM or after. This gives us time to check the trailer, clean it, and make any necessary repairs. In certain situations and in the off season you may be able to pick up your trailer at an earlier time, but this is unusual. Also, certain exceptions can be made when a holiday falls on a Friday or Monday (like Memorial Day and Labor Day). Please call us for details. Appointments must be made for PICK-UP TIMES, and you must be on time!
WIRING: Your vehicle must have at least four prong flat plug .The charge for wiring this plug to your vehicle is $30 labor plus parts. It is best if you have a 7 pin, round plug on your vehicle. If you want this plug installed on your vehicle, the price will be determined based on your vehicle and what wiring you will need. If your vehicle already has the wiring, but it has been installed incorrectly or needs repairs, the charge for correcting it will be assessed accordingly. If you have another plug on your vehicle you may need to purchase an adapter. You may also need to buy a heavy duty flasher. You must have working tow lights before you leave.
HITCHES: To avoid damaging the trailer , the height from the ground to the top of the ball must be between 18" and 20" on all pop-ups. You must have a frame mounted hitch and they may be purchased from a hitch company like U-haul or Dayton's Trailer Hitch. You must have proper towing equipment (Hitch, ball, wiring, etc.) before you leave. Also, it is your responsibility to make sure your vehicle is able to pull the trailer you rent.
TIRES: All tires are in good condition on the rental units but occasionally you might have a flat. The units equipped with a spare tire. We will bear the cost of the one tire replacement not to exceed $50. We require the receipt and tire carcass in order for you to receive the refund of the tire purchase. Tires need a daily pressure check (that is each day you travel). This will help to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable trip.
CANCELLATIONS: We require (14 days) notice of cancellation in writing in order to refund most of your deposit. There will be a $25 cancellation fee deducted from your deposit. Deposits are refunded the same way they were made. If you cancel less than 14 days ahead of time, your deposit will NOT be refunded unless we can re-rent the unit for the dates you had it reserved.
